Metal Overmolding onto Silicone Rubber Membrane Diaphragm Seal

Overmolded Diaphragm Membrane Seal is also known as silicone membrane diaphragm sheet, which is widely used for medical application, pump or auto.
Metal overmolding onto silicone rubber membrane gasket seal can be made from solid silicone rubber and can be  made from liquid silicone rubber by compression overmolding, transfer overmolding or liquid silicone overmolding.

Mainly used for when the metal insert is so small/light that easily run if silicone rubber material vulcanized unevenly

By transfer overmolding, the silicone rubber material(overmold ) in the material pot can be vulcanized quickly and evenly. So that the metal insert can be overmolded well.

Generally, for metal and glass substrate, overmolding agent/primer is necessary.
And also need to keep the surface of metal insert clean.
After coat agent/primer onto surface of metal inserts/electronics, it is necessary to dry the agent/primer, then put it into mold cavity and overmolding the coated metal insert and silicone rubber material.
